You must use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption with all mainframe terminal sessions. The University has a site license for the Hummingbird HostExplorer tn3270 client for this purpose.

If you are using a Windows computer, you need to download Hummingbird HostExplorer tn3270 from the Software Site Licensing website. You must configure Hummingbird HostExplorer to use SSL Encryption using these instructions. |
