You can forward your University telephone to another telephone number.

Do it now
To forward your traditional multi-line telephone to another phone number: 1. Press the line button for the number you wish to forward. 2. Press the "Call Forward" button. 3. Dial the telephone number. If you're forwarding to a University number, dial the last five digits. If you're forwarding to an off-campus number and do not use an authcode, dial 9 + 1 + the full ten-digit number. If your phone requires an authcode, dial 8 + authcode + 1 + the full ten-digit number. 4. To cancel forwarding on your multi-line phone, press the line button for the number you wish to restore to normal operation, press the "Call Forward" button, and listen for the confirmation tone. To forward your traditional single-line phone to another phone number: 1. Dial *3. 2. Dial the telephone number. If you're forwarding to a University number, dial the last five digits. If you're forwarding to an off-campus number and do not use an authcode, dial 9 + 1 + the full ten-digit number. If your phone requires an authcode, dial 8 + authcode + 1 + the full ten-digit number. 3. To cancel forwarding on your single-line phone, dial #3, and listen for the confirmation tone. To forward your IP main phone line to another phone number: 1. Press the line button. Note that if you wish to forward secondary lines, you must do this using https://myphone.uchicago.edu. 2. Press "CFwdALL." Note that you cannot incorporate an Authcode or forward calls outside the area-code range set for your phone. 3. To cancel forwarding on your IP phone, press "CFwdALL" and listen for the confirmation tone. |
