In brief
Chicago Cards are the official University IDs and can be used to gain access to and check out materials in the Libraries on campus, ride the 170, 171 and 172 campus CTA buses and evening buses for free, eat at Dining Services locations if you are a dining plan member or have flex dollars, cash checks at the Bursar's Office, access the gyms and rent athletic equipment, access Student Health Services, enter the Pub if you are a member and make photocopies or use laundry services throughout campus. The University of Chicago Card is yours alone to use, but it remains the property of the University and must be shown on demand. It is not transferable under any conditions. Do not lend your Chicago Card to any other person.
