In brief
You may filter spam from your email using cMail functions. However, we strongly recommend that you use great caution when filtering, as it is possible to set up filters that have unexpected results, such as throwing away all incoming mail. You may also wish to use client-side filtering, meaning that you set up conditions in your mail program, such as Thunderbird, to handle mail as it arrives. Again, use caution to avoid unintended results and be sure to practice before setting up wide-reaching conditions.
