What would you like to do?
Get network service if the University doesn't provide it |
|---|
|
In brief
If the University doesn't run cables to your location, or provide wireless service, you have three options:
1. You can use a computer in University computer lab 2. You can use the University's free dial-up service 3. You can subscribe to a commercial service provider |
|
Do it now
For information about using a computer in a University computer lab, see the Use a computer on campus brief. For information about using the University's free dial-up service, see the Connect to the University of Chicago Network using the modem pool brief. The University doesn't provide a list of commercial service providers because we don't want to endorse any one company. However, you can use a computer in a University computer lab to search for service providers. |
