What would you like to do?
Get network service if the University doesn't provide it
In brief
If the University doesn't run cables to your location, or provide wireless service, you have three options:
1. You can use a computer in University computer lab
2. You can use the University's free dial-up service
3. You can subscribe to a commercial service provider
Do it now
For information about using a computer in a University computer lab, see the Use a computer on campus brief.

For information about using the University's free dial-up service, see the Connect to the University of Chicago Network using the modem pool brief.

The University doesn't provide a list of commercial service providers because we don't want to endorse any one company. However, you can use a computer in a University computer lab to search for service providers.
