In brief
The University must make available assistive listening devices (ALDs) to individuals who wish to use them to hear better during lectures, classes, conferences, theater performances, concerts, sporting events, and other functions that members of the public might attend. ALDs amplify sound directly into the ears of people with hearing loss and are now expected to be at events in case a member of the audience asks to use one.

Units interested in purchasing their own ALDs may contact Audio Visual Services for equipment recommendations and advice on vendors. You can also Borrow an Assistive Listening Device. |
